Youth Homelessness Listening Session

July 28 @ 6:00 pm 8:00 pm

Lancaster County Chooses Love and the Berks Coalition to End Homelessness are hosting a listening session for young people with lived experience of homelessness or housing instability.

Listening sessions create a dedicated space where young people can share their experiences, insights, and ideas in an environment rooted in respect, dignity, and emotional safety. Participants will be invited to speak openly about what has helped, what has caused harm, and what has been missing from local programs and systems without fear of judgment or repercussions.

The session has two primary goals:

  • To hear directly from young people with lived expertise about the realities of homelessness and housing instability.
  • To gather meaningful feedback that can help improve policies, programs, and services through the Youth Homelessness System Improvement initiative.
