Introducing: Founders’ Scholarship
The Founders’ Scholarship was created to honor the individuals who helped build Lancaster County Chooses Love and to support the next generation of LGBTQ+ leaders in our community. If you’d like to read more about how LCCL was founded, please check out our blog post.
Each year, we will award a $500 scholarship to an LGBTQ+ young person in Lancaster County who is pursuing post-secondary education. This includes college, trade programs, certifications, and other paths forward. We recognize that there is no one “right” path, and we are proud to support individuals as they take their next step.
This scholarship reflects our commitment to investing in our community by removing barriers, uplifting lived experiences, and celebrating those who embody our values of inclusivity, support, empowerment, and advocacy.
