Transgender Day of Remembrance Gathering
November 22 @ 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Join Lancaster County Chooses Love at Lititz Springs Park for a community gathering in recognition of Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR).
Each year, Transgender Day of Remembrance honors the lives of transgender and gender-diverse people lost to anti-transgender violence. It’s a time to remember those we’ve lost, hold space for grief, and stand together in solidarity with our transgender community.
This year’s gathering will be hosted by Kendall Brooks and will include candle lighting, community art, music, poetry, and reflections from local speakers.
Our gathering will feature:
- Kendall Brooks: Host
- Wren Clayton-Kulfan: Musical performance
- Phoenix Draig: Poetry reading
- Community Speakers: Jinx Canfield, Noah Schenke, Piper Bowman, and Soren Brutout
Together, we’ll honor the lives lost, support one another, and reaffirm our commitment to building a world where transgender people can live safely, authentically, and freely.
All are welcome to join us for this meaningful evening of remembrance, reflection, and community.
We remember. We honor. We choose love.
