THRIVE: a social group for LGBT+ adults 50+
March 20 @ 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Manheim Township Public Library
595 Granite Run Dr., Lancaster, PA 17601
Light lunch included
THRIVE 50+ is a welcoming space for LGBTQ+ adults ages 50 and older to gather in community, build friendships, and share stories. Whether you’ve lived decades of change or are simply looking for connection, this space is for you.
At our March gathering, we are honored to welcome guest speaker Barry Loveland, Co-Founder and Chair of the LGBT Center of Central PA History Project. Barry has been an out gay activist since 1977 and has dedicated his work to preserving and sharing the stories of LGBTQ+ communities across Central Pennsylvania. His insights remind us that our local history matters and that our stories deserve to be remembered.
We are also grateful to Doug Bell of Harrisburg, PA, who has generously volunteered to serve as the Program Sponsor for this event.
A light lunch will be provided. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.
To register, please email Stephanie@LancasterChoosesLove.org.
Come take the open seat. We look forward to gathering with you.
