SUMMARY:Lancaster Educators Pride Network (LEPN) Virtual Kickoff
DESCRIPTION:Note: This is a virtual event. To register\, email Stephanie@lancasterchooseslove.org \n\n\n\nWe’re excited to introduce the Lancaster Educators Pride Network (LEPN)\, a new community dedicated to connecting LGBTQ+ and allied educators and building safer\, more inclusive educational environments throughout Lancaster County and beyond. \n\n\n\nLEPN brings together teachers\, school counselors\, social workers\, administrators\, higher education faculty\, pre-service educators\, retired educators\, and allies who believe in the power of community\, collaboration\, and belonging. \n\n\n\nWhat to Expect \n\n\n\nOur first virtual gathering is an opportunity to meet fellow educators\, learn about LEPN’s mission and vision\, and help shape the future of this growing network. \n\n\n\nDuring this meeting\, we’ll: \n\n\n\n\nIntroduce LEPN’s mission\, vision\, and goals.\n\n\n\nConnect with other LGBTQ+ and allied educators.\n\n\n\nDiscuss opportunities for collaboration\, resource sharing\, and peer support.\n\n\n\nBegin forming a steering committee and leadership team.\n\n\n\n\nBuilding a Stronger Educator Community \n\n\n\nLEPN’s first year will focus on connection\, support\, and visibility. Through monthly virtual meetings and quarterly in-person gatherings\, we hope to create a trusted space where educators can share experiences\, exchange resources\, navigate challenges\, and support one another. \n\n\n\nTogether\, we can build a community where educators feel empowered to bring their authentic selves to work and where every student has the opportunity to feel safe\, valued\, and supported. \n\n\n\nRegistration \n\n\n\nReady to get involved? Email stephanie@lancasterchooseslove.org to register for our first meeting. \n\n\n\nWe look forward to building this community with you!
